My aunt told me about a poetry contest so I decided to enter it a week before the deadline. I sent in the three required poems, including the one about things unseen. They are not my best work, but having poems out there is helpful in reminding me to write and submit. If they are not selected for anything I'll send them out in the summer to some reviews.

I was proud of myself last week in finding the driver for my printer and downloading it online and setting up things so that now I can print off this computer. I still have to buy myself a new computer, but at least this work one can print. It's only missing a sound card to be a perfect temporary system! Ah well.

I have some other poems being worked out slowly, and I am still thinking about that novel idea. There is a book on Amazon UK that would help me look into the novel plot, but of course thanks to the wonder that is our economy, the pound is almost 1.9 USD, so I will look for the same book here first.

I'm off to finish my work on a children's novel and eat a bit of something. Popcorn might go well with my Pepsi Holiday Spice. I never drink soda anymore, but that stuff rocks.
