Very best thing in the whole Tut exhibition. I just couldn't stop looking at it, wondering who made it, whether the craftsman had children who tested it out before it went to the king, and then to his tomb for 3,000 years.

The seat is perfectly curved, the feet tiny paws with ivory nails. The sides have a stag under curving branchlike lines. Each angle and detail is amazing.

I have never seen a more beautiful chair.
