A new year, and perhaps time for a new blog ... a new template, anyway. We'll see. A toddler and incredible amounts of work do not leave much time for screwing around with a blog at this point.
But I do want to keep updating when I can. I can post about my dinners, I suppose.
I've decided to make one dinner a week and give the chef a night off. Last week was fabulously successful: Black Bean Soup from Food Network Favorites cookbook. Yum. Tomorrow will be Chicken Stroganoff, a recipe from a copy of an old issue of a magazine called Eating Light, or something like that. Sounds good, but it also serves the purpose of using some ingredients we have left over from other things. Recycling. I hope it doesn't taste like recycling in the end.
I've been (almost) keeping up with taking a picture of K each day. I missed one or two days this year, but that's fine. I refuse to be hard on myself for not being "perfect" in all that I want to do. It's too stressful.
Lots and lots of editing in January so far. Should be a busy couple of months, if the schedule stays the way it looks right now. Should get back to it.
